The content will give practitioners an in depth understanding of the ‘Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation (EYFS) Stage’ and how it applies to daily practice.
This session, in the three-session programme, explores the principles of learning and development. We will explore planning to meet the needs of young children building on the EYFS principles of the unique child, positive relationships and enabling environments.
By the end of the session practitioners will:
- understand how the principles of the EYFS enable children’s learning
- be able to plan an enabling environment and suitable learning opportunities to support children’s learning and development
This course runs as three separate modules. Please book each session separately.
This course is ideal for practitioners who are just beginning their careers in early years.
